Profitable law firms have strategic plans. A strategic plan is nothing but a road map showing you how to get where you want to go over a long term basis. Catalyst is unique in that we believe you must visualize your future and then build backwards. The past should be a source of inspiration but the future will not be the same.
Dream, Believe, Execute
‘Dream, Believe, Execute’ is the basis of all Catalyst strategic planning. Out of your strategic plan can come target specific plans such as plans for business projects, financial requests or marketing. The only limits in planning are those you place on yourself. Planning and accountability is the key to turning a firm around and bringing it into alignment with your personal and professional goals.
Our approach to strategic planning has been the cornerstone of success for law firm practices. We have the ability to develop accountable benchmarks that guarantee the success of the plan. Our plans are working, living, breathing documents that if followed deliver success.
The # 1 reason law firms fail in moving forward is their failure to execute!
Catalyst joins with you in partnership and helps act as the project manager to make sure that the plan continues to evolve and is implemented. The worst plan in the world is the one that sets on a shelf. You plan will show signs of wear and tear as we grow and change with you.
HOW DOES IT HAPPEN?
Catalyst is located in Raleigh, North Carolina. We begin by working with you to gather as much information as we can through telephone conferences or Skype meetings. Once we have the information we need in advance we ask you to come to Raleigh and commit three days helping design a plan to fit your vision. We confiscate your cell phones during the sessions. We create an agenda with you and a plan of what we want to accomplish. We facilitate the retreat, maintain records, and at the end provide a summary of decision making along with any further recommendations or observations we noted. We promise you that Catalyst retreats are working retreats that have developed plans at the end.
